Starter Package
Air Experience Flight

The Fastest Way to Start Flying

If one flight leaves you wanting more — the Starter Package is the next step. Five structured training lessons with one of our qualified instructors, each around 20 minutes in the air, each building on the last. By the end you'll have genuine time on the controls and a clear sense of what the path to a glider pilot certificate looks like.

These are proper training flights and each lesson is logged and counts toward your Gliding Australia training outcomes. If at the end of the five flights you decide to continue, you can join Gliding Tasmania as a full member and pick up your training from exactly where you left off.

Pre- and post-flight briefings are included with each session, so you understand what you're doing and why — the same way we train every pilot.
