Gliding Tasmania

Gliding Tasmania is a not-for-profit club run entirely by its members. Joining gives you access to club aircraft, qualified instruction, and one of the most spectacular soaring environments in Australia.

All instruction is provided free of charge by our volunteer instructors — you only pay for aircraft hire and tow costs. Rates are among the most affordable in Australia for the quality of flying on offer.

How to Join

Submit Your Application

Complete the membership application form below. We'll review your application and be in touch within a few days.

Confirm & Pay

We'll confirm your membership and will set up an Account and give you access to the Gliding App where you can make any payments. All fees are payable by EFT.

Come Flying!

Once accepted, check the Roster to see when we are flying and come out to Tunbridge and meet the crew. We'll get you in the air as soon as we can.
